The sports-drama featured Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the female lead. The film had hit the screens on October 25th 2019 as a Diwali treat for the fans and the film did wonders at the box-office.
Bigil also featured performances from Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Kathir, Indhuja, Varsha Bollamma, Gayathri Reddy, Reba Monica John, and others in prominent roles.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film featured music composed by Isaipuyal AR Rahman. On the technical front, Bigil's cinematographer is G.K. Vishnu while Ruben and Muthuraj handled the editing and art departments respectively.
Now, one of the movie's most popular songs - Verithanam, has hit a 100 Million plus views on Youtube (Lyric + Video song views combined). This song is voiced by Thalapathy Vijay himself, in AR Rahman's music. This is the first song sung by Vijay in AR Rahman's music. Official tweet here!
