It is a worldly fact that Thala Ajith is a man who loves the adrenaline rush. He is an avid car and bike racer and is very much a sports enthusiast. In a throwback video, Thala is spotted talking about T20 cricket and why it is the future of sports in India. This video is currently going Viral on social media.

Thala Ajith talks about T20 cricket and its popularity in India

When asked about how to make sports popular in the country, Thala said “I think it is all about TV viewership. Look at sports in America. It is all about television. Why is T20 so popular now? It is because of the duration (3 hrs). People don’t have the time now. Of course, Cricket started off with a 5 day test and came down to one day and now, it is T20.”

“I think T20 is the future of cricket because people don’t have the time now. Everybody is ambitious and anything more than 3 hours, I don’t think people will have the attention span,” said Thala. This Interview was taken during the early 2010s, right before the boom of T20 cricket. Well, Ajith seems to have aced his prediction.

On the work front, Ajith was last seen in the 2019 movie ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, which was directed by H.Vinoth. He is currently working with the same director for his next movie which is titled ‘Valimai’. The project is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. Stay tuned for more updates.
