Our sources reveal that Thala Ajith has contributed a massive sum to fight the Coronavirus outbreak. The actor has donated Rs 50 lakhs each to the PM-Cares fund and CM relief fund and has contributed Rs 25 lakhs to FEFSI (Film Employees Federation of South India) to support the daily wage earners of the film industry.

Ajith will be playing the role of a police officer in director H. Vinoth's Valimai, which is scheduled for a Diwali release this year. With Yuvan Shankar Raja's music, the action film is produced by Boney Kapoor of Bayview Projects LLP.
