Though Makkal Selvan will be seen in an extended cameo, we can’t wait to catch this fresh pair together on the screen.
A few days back the lead actors took to their social media handles to unveil the first look of the horror-comedy film directed by Deepak Sundarajan (son of director-actor R. Sundarrajan), a former assistant of Director Vijay. The film will also feature the famous stylish villain, Jagapati Babu, Lamberghini music video fame Harshadaa Vijay, Yogi Babu and actress Radikaa Sarathkumar amongst others.
The trailer of the same was released today (August 30) in Tamil by Actor Suriya and the Malayalam trailer was unveiled by Mohanlal and it sure does look like a laugh riot. Within a few minutes of introducing the story in the post-independence era, the trailer immediately shifts to the present and dives into the comical elements.
Though the horror comedy was set to hit theatres, it was postponed due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Annabelle Sethupathi will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada on Disney+Hotstar on September 17.
