The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, TFCC, has released a press statement about the meeting that the south Indian film fraternity members had with digital service providers QUBE and UFO, on February 16, at Chennai.
According to the statement, it was decided during the meeting to meet again on February 23, to arrive at a final conclusion regarding the pricing levels of the Digital Service Providers (DSPs).
Until then, the note said, there is no change in the announced shutdown on March 1 plan.

Vishal has called for the total film industry shut down from May 30th. However, there are many confusions prevailing over the strike.
Tamil Film Chamber of Commerce, under Abirami Ramanathan, had a meeting this morning to discuss the film industry shut down from May 30th. They have officially announced that they won't be taking part in this strike. The press statement reads, "When we met our Chief Minister a few days back and told him about the problems in the film industry, he immediately appointed officials to look into the issue and solve it. Hence, we would not participate in any of the strikes, including the strike that is being planned to happen from May 30th. Earlier, Tamil Nadu Film Distributors Association and Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association had announced that they won't participate in the strike. Now, we would also not be a part of this strike".
The committee meeting was attended by many prominent members of the union, including Abirami Ramanathan, Kalaippuli S.Thanu, Sarathkumar, Anbuchezhian, Cheran, Radharavi, J.K.Ritheesh, K.Muraleedharan, T.Siva, A.L.Alagappan, T.G.Thyagarajan, Chithra Lakshmanan, Dhananjayan, Pyramid Natrajan and others.
