Actor Rajinikanth, who was last seen in Shankar’s 2.0, is awaiting the release of his next film Petta, directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The superstar is also said to team up with director A.R Murugadoss for his next, and the official confirmation on the same is expected soon.

Taking a dig at Rajinikanth, BJP’s State President Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan has said that she and her party will criticise Rajini, only when he formally starts a political party and becomes the party president.

“Questions regarding Rajinikanth will not be answered at BJP’s office now. It should be answered by Rajinikanth himself. We will criticise him only when he begins his party and becomes it’s president”, she said in a press meet.
