It is a known fact that Sushant earned a nationwide fanbase after he played MS Dhoni in the biopic of the former Indian captain. However, Sushant’s big break in acting came after his performance in a Hindi soap, which is the remake of the Tamil serial ‘Tirumati Selvam’.

Producer Ekta Kapoor tweeted about the same on June 2nd. Her Tweet read “After being 35 of 50 slots we were out of top 50! This show was a chance @ZeeTV gave us based on a show #tirumatiselvum! Wanted to cast a boy as lead who was doing second lead on our other show! The creative in Zee was adamant he dint look the part. We convinced them his smile would win a million hearts.....and it did @itsSSR”

This tweet from Ekta has made everyone emotional now, as their favourite Sushant is no more. The industry is mourning his demise and many celebrities and stars have shared their condolences across Social media platforms.
