The film is being receiving extra-ordinary responses from celebs and commoners. Soorarai Pottru is inspired by former army captain and Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath’s book Simply Fly and his life.
The film also featured Aparna Balamurali, Dr.M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat in prominent roles. When Behindwoods got it touch with the real Maara, he has opened up about the movie after watching it.
About turning emotional about the scenes, he said, “Some of the dialogues where she questioned him and taunts him or when she came to marry me she came in bullock carts to see me because I lived in a remote village area….So those things brought tears.” - Watch the full interview here -
