WOAH! SURIYA'S BRAND-NEW LOOK THRILLS FANS - GUESS WHAT IS THIS FOR?
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsA couple of months ago, an interesting news was announced officially which stated that Mani Ratnam would be coming up with an epic anthology with 9 talented directors for 9 amazing stories for one and only one noble cause.
This had indeed piqued our interest ever since the news of this project broke! The nine-film anthology, presented by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Pachapakesan, is based on the nine rasas (emotions) - anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace and wonder.
The anthology will be helmed by the following nine directors - Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, KV Anand, Karthick Naren, Bejoy Nambiar, Ponram, Rathindran Prasad, Halitha Shameem and Arvind Swami (directorial debut).
The film will have a direct digital release on the popular OTT platform -Netflix. The entire revenue of this project will be going to the FEFSI union workers and daily wage cinema workers whose livelihood was affected due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Netflix has now released a new video which shows a glimpse of all their upcoming projects of 2021 that includes Navarasa as well. Extracts of the actors Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Siddharth and Arvind Swami are out!
