Suriya's 40th film 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' is being produced by Sun Pictures under the direction of Pandiraj. The film was shot in Chennai, Karaikudi and Tenkasi.

The film has been awarded with U / A certificate and reportedly, the film's runtime is expected to be 150:38 minutes (2:30:38).

It has been reported that people under the age of 18 can also watch the film under the supervision of their parents. Etharkkum Thunindhavan will be released in 5 languages ​​-Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada.

Earlier, it was announced to be released on February 4, 2022. Then it was postponed due to the third wave of Corona. Post which, the makers have finally announced to release the film on March 10th.

All the posters of this film that were unveiled, were well received. P.Rathnavelu is handling the cinematography for this film who has earlier worked with Suriya in films like 'Nandha' and 'Vaaranam Aayiram'.

Suriya will be seen pairing up with Priyanka Arul Mohan for the very first time. Actor Sathyaraj plays an important role in this film. Reportedly, it is said to be based on the Pollachi sexual assault case.

The trailer of the film has been released today (02.03.2022) which features mass fights, comedy and romantic scenes. Suriya, Priyanka Mohan, Vinay, Saranya Ponvannan, Sathyaraj and Subbu Panchu appear in the trailer. Popular punch lines and action scenes are featured in this trailer.
