SOORARAI POTTRU: SURIYA’S MENTOR’S NAME HAS A SPECIAL CONNECT IN HIS REAL LIFE!

Apart from Suriya, the film features Aparna Balamurali as the female lead while Dr. M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat amongst others will be seen in important roles.

Besides the story and the direction, Sudha Kongara had also written the screenplay along with Shalini Usha Devi. The movie is bankrolled by Suriya's 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga.

Looks like Maara’s mentor which will be essayed by popular actor Dr. M Mohan Babu’s character name from the film has been revealed along with his look. Now, the interesting part is that the actor will be using his birth name - Bhaktavatsalam Naidu in the film. Expressing her happiness, an excited Lakshmi Manchu (Mohan Babu's daughter), who had appeared in Kadal, tweeted, “Ohh I didn’t know he used his birth name.
