Kaappan is an upcoming tamil film starring Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and others directed by K.V.Anand and produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.
There have been recent updates that Arya and Mohanlal have completed shooting for their roles in the film. After Maattrraan, Harris Jayaraj is collaborating with Suriya again Kaappan. During a live interview directly from Facebook office in Hyderabad, Suriya had also joined come in video conferencing to give away some exciting news about the plot.
Suriya stated that Mohanlal playing the Prime Minister while Suriya is his SPG officer in the movie.He also said it deals with what details can a Prime Minister share with an SPG officer and how large hearted can a Prime Minister be. They also spilled some beans about the release date of the film. The film can be expected to release on August 15 as per Suriya and Mohanlal’s conversation.
Kaappan’s posters have been released already and they did good rounds on the internet. More details on the teaser, music album and release date of the movie are awaited and expected to be announced shortly.
