Actor Suriya's political thriller NGK has hit the silver screens on May 31. Written and directed by Selvaraghavan, Suriya plays the male lead while Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh play the female protagoonists. Actors Balasingh, Uma Padmanabhan, Ilavarasu and Ponvannan play crucial supporting roles.
On the day of the film's release, the actor posted a heartfelt message on his official Twitter account, in which he thanked his fans and audiences for being a great pillar of support, irrespective of success or failure and that this support is what keeps him motivating. The tweet read:
அன்பே தவம். அன்பே வரம்..வெற்றி தோல்விகளைக் கடந்து மானசீகமாக என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட அன்புள்ளங்களே என் வரம். நீங்கள் என் மீது வைத்திருக்கும் நம்பிக்கையே என்னை தொடர்ந்து இயக்குகிறது. அனைவரையும் மகிழ்வித்து மகிழ காத்திருக்கிறேன். உங்களுக்கும், இறைவனுக்கும் உள்ளம் நெகிழும் நன்றிகள்🙏

NGK has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja while Praveen K.L and Sivakumar Vijayan handle the editing and cinematography departments respectively. The film is produced by S.R Prabhu and S.R Prakash Babu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures.
