SURIYA'S HEROINE IS ALL SET TO PAIR UP WITH KARTHI - EXCITING DETAILS REVEALED!

The initial shooting of Sardar started in Chennai a few months back. Filming was later postponed due to Corona. Meanwhile, Karthi was involved in the shooting of Ponniyin Selvan, Viruman. Preparations are underway for the completion of the shooting of these two films.

Then again a few days ago the shooting of this film resumed in Chennai.

Sardar shooting in Chennai is over and the next phase of shooting is scheduled to take place in Kodaikanal and Mysore. The crew has gone to Mysore for this. Scenes involving actress Raashii Khanna - Karthi are being shot in Mysore.

The film stars Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan opposite Karthik. Actress Laila plays a major role with them. She has officially opened up about this in an interview with the Behindwoods channel. Laila is back in action after 16 years.

Laila has already acted with Suriya in films like Nanda, Pithamagan, Mounam Pesiyadhe, Unnai Ninaithu. Sardar stars Surya's brother Karthi. The film is directed by Mithran, the director who directed IrumbuThirai and Hero . George Williams handles the cinematography. GV Prakash Kumar composes the music. The film is produced by Prince Pictures.

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
