EXCLUSIVE: SURABHI'S STATEMENT ON SURIYA-VIGNESH SHIVN'S PROJECT

Pretty Surabhi who made her Tamil debut through Ivan Vera Maadhiri has done films like Velai Illa Pattadhari and Pugazh. She has also been roped in to essay the lady lead in Adangadhey under newbie director Shanmugan Muthusamy where she will be paired opposite GV Prakash. Sarathkumar plays a dual role in the film.

About Adangadhey, Surabhi says, “The film is going to be shot in Chennai, Trichy and Kasi. It is a very different love story with a political backdrop. My character is a beautiful one, but I can’t reveal about it now. We are commencing the shot from 19th September. 

When I spoke to the director, I felt the entire project was promising including the storyline and my character. That’s why I took it up”.

There are also talks that Surabhi would be doing a pivotal role in Vignesh Shivn-Suriya project. When we broached this to the actress, she laughs and says, “I also read about it but nobody has approached me for the film till now. I was a little surprised. Looks like they have made it up”. 

Surabhi is in talks for a Telugu project which would be finalized soon.
