ATHI VARADAR GETS A SUPERSTAR VISIT!: PICTURES HERE

A festival that happens only once in every forty years, the Athi Varadar idol will be displayed for forty-eight days in the Varadarajar Temple, Kanchipuram, where devotees can worship the deity. More than thousands of devotees have been thronging in crowds to witness the phenomenon.
This occasion has seen many celebrity visits, ranging from politicians to film personalities, and the recent star to join the list is none other than Superstar Rajinikanth, who had visited the temple in the early morning on 14th August. The actor had visited the temple along with his wife Latha Rajinikanth.
On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently busy with the shoot of the A.R. Murugadoss directorial Darbar, which stars Nayanthara as the female lead while Yogi Babu, Jatin Sarna, Prateik Babbar, Nawab Shah and others in crucial roles. The film is produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions and the makers are planning for a 2020 Pongal release.
