Recently, the trailer for the web-series Karenjit Kaur made headlines as it was the biopic of Bollywood star Sunny Leone. The trailer was blazing on social media and the show has officially released online. 

Now, the show has faced controversy. According to reports, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has objected the use of the surname Kaur in the title. It is said that they have expressed dissent on the title and that it is hurting their sentiments. 

It is not clear as to what actions the producers have taken yet. Sunny plays herself in this series directed by Aditya Dutta. Stay tuned for more updates.
