Sathya, who had scored music for films such as 'Engeyum Eppodhum' and 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellakkaran' composing music for the film. Produced by Khushbu under the banner of Avni Cinemax, the movie received mixed responses, but was well received by family audience. The blockbuster hit is now gearing up for its digital premiere nearly a month after it was released on the big screens.

The film is the third instalment in the 'Aranmanai' franchise. It is all set to be released on November 12 on popular OTT platform Zee 5 Tamil. Earlier, Zee 5 had procured quality hits including Santhanam's 'Dikkiloona', Samuthirakani’s 'Vinodhaya Sitham', and Vaibhav - Vani Bhojan's 'Malaysia to Amnesia'.

Aranmanai, the first film in the franchise starred actors Hansika Motwani, Vinay Rai, Andrea Jeremiah and Raai Laxmi in lead roles, while its sequel Aranmanai 2 featured actors Hansika, Trisha and Siddharth in the lead.

Actor, screenwriter and director Sundar C had previously helmed Action, a spy thriller that had Vishal and Tamannaah. He is working on the sequel of his 2006 hit 'Thalai Nagaram' with VZ Durai of 'Mugavaree' fame.
