The main success of a serial is its interesting storyline, admirable characters and engaging script. Each channel has its own stream of popular series, and one such famous show is Nayagi. The story follows the journey of a woman who braves all odds put forward in her daily life.

First the leading lady of the serial was Actress Vijayalakshmi, well known for her stints in movies such as Chennai - 28. Then as she opted out, Vidya Pradeep took over as the leading lady. In the meantime, the relay of the series was temporarily suspended just as every other serial because the shoots were cancelled due to COVID lockdown.

Now, with the relaxations set in place for serial shootings, actor Krishna, Deivamagal fame, informed that he has joined the sets of Nayagi and Lakshmi Stores fame Nakshatra Nagesh is also seen along with the crew. Reports have been doing rounds that a new storyline will emerge with Krishna as Ezhilan & Nakshathra as Divya.
