In a 'Enna Koduma Sir Idhu' moment, the actor shared a small comic piece saying, "This is the first year that I have to cancel our family trip for summer vacation to Europe because of Covid." Just when we thought, 'Oh, sad', he had a comeback: "Otherwise every year we had to cancel because of money..." The comments section was full of people laughing and ROFL-ing.

On May 9, Manimegalai, mother of Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Amaren, died due to age-related ailments. Many celebrities poured in their condolences to the grieving family. Director Venkat Prabhu shared a heartfelt note later, saying that they have lost the Goddess of their family.

Premgi, who was last seen in the Horror-Thriller web series 'Live Telecast', will be acting in Simbu's 'Maanaadu' which is slated to release this year.
