SUDHA RAGHUNATHAN CONCERT TO BE HELD ON.....

Lalaji Memorial Omega International School (LMOIS) will be presenting ‘Kalanjali’, at the Music Academy on 22nd October, 2016. This event will be entirely organized and managed by the students of LMOIS, under the adept guidance of the teachers.

As a part of the program, a musical workshop for school students will be organised by eminent artists, Dr. Sriram Parasuram and Shri Anil Srinivasan. Dr. Sriram Parasuram is a classical vocalist and a violin maestro while Sri Anil Srinivasan is a classical pianist. The workshop will be held at Kasturi Srinivasan Hall (Mini Hall), The Music Academy, Chennai from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on the 22nd October.

In the evening there will be musical performances by acclaimed artists, Shri Abhishek Raghuram, who is a Carnatic vocalist and Smt. Sudha Ragunathan, who is a Padmabhushan awardee, a  Carnatic composer and a vocalist. The vocal concerts will be held at the TTK Auditorium, The Music Academy, Chennai from 5.00 pm. to 9.00 pm.

The proceeds of the event will go towards the fund for the reconstruction of the school library, which among other items has suffered irreparable damage and loss during the December 2015 deluge. All the efforts are oriented towards rebuilding “Shri Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari Memorial Library.
