The film was released on Amazon Prime and was a huge hit. Following the success of the film, Sudha Kongara is in talks to direct the actor yet again.

Hindi Remake

Following the success of the film, the film is currently being remade in Hindi. Akshay Kumar will be seen stepping into the shoes of Suriya. This movie has not been named yet. The film is also directed by Sudha Kongara. Radhika Madan plays the heroine. Suriya's 2D Entertainment is also co-producing the film. Actor Akshay Kumar has announced on the social networking site that the shooting of the film has started today.

Radhika can be seen performing the coconut-breaking ritual amidst singing a prayer just before the shoot kickstarted. The video was captioned as, "With the auspicious coconut-breaking and a small prayer in our heart, we begin the filming of our yet untitled film which is about dreams and the power of it."

Sudha Kongara's next

After the success of KGF 2, Hombale Films who is also poducing Prabhas' Salaar which is again directed by Prasanth Neel, has announced their next. According to the announcement, Sudha Kongara has been signed to direct the production house's next film. Other cast and crew details are yet to be out.
