Popular actor K D Chandran, who is well-known for his performances in movies such as “Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke”, passed away on Sunday at a city hospital and the cause of death has been reported as cardiac arrest.

He was 84. Chandran, father of noted actor-dancer Sudha Chandran, was reportedly hospitalized at Criti Care Hospital in Juhu a few days back owing to kidney problems of the advanced stage.
