Actor STR was last seen in Sundar C's Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven, produced by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions, that also saw Catherine Tresa, Megha Akash, Mahat, Robo Shankar, Yogi Babu and others in crucial roles. STR had also signed a film with Venkat Prabhu, titled Maanadu, which will be a political film.
Now, here is an official announcement about his next. The star actor will be seen in a film produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner, Studio Green, and directed by Narthan of Kannada film Mufti fame. This project will be a multi-starrer, as Gautham Karthik will be playing the other male lead role.
Simbu will be seen in a multi-starrer once again after Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, that was directed by Mani Ratnam. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam had an ensemble cast consisting of Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dayana Erappa, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prakash Raj, and others apart from STR himself.
