Actor STR was last seen in the Sundar C-directed comic caper Vandha Rajavadhaan Varuven. The Chekka Chivandha Vaanam-star was paired opposite Megha Akash in this Hiphop Tamizha musical. The actor is currently gearing for his next film, the Venkat Prabhu-directed political thriller Maanaadu.
Meanwhile, there were reports suggesting that the actor will be seen in director Muthiah's next film. The director had earlier directed rural dramas like Kuttipuli, Komban, Marudhu, Kodiveeran and the recently released Devarattam.
