Last year, she grabbed eyeballs with her body transformation post and took to her social media pages to brief her fans about her fitness journey. She revealed she was battling depression and anger and took a step to change her life. The actress said she dropped 20 kgs and shared before and after pictures which went viral.

The actress, who has been working on her diet and weightloss, is very vocal about her fitness journey and encourages her fans to take the route too. A few days back, she shared a picture of herself on her Instagram story and said, "20 kgs down and still people fat shame me under pictures/reels saying I'm a pig and that they're earthquake when I dance and someday I am losing too much weight. Wow. There is no pleasing anyone is there? Guess what? I'm not here to please anyone but myself. Thank you very much. Bye felicia!"

She also went on to thank her fans who sent her positive messages after her story. Vidyu Raman got engaged to her fiance Sanjay last year. He is a fitness consultant and an entrepreneur who runs Keto Chennai that specialises in selling keto and vegan gourmet products.
