Ramya Krishnan’s role in Baahubali is a powerful one. There was a controversy that it was first offered to Sridevi but she did not do the same due to her high financial demands. This information was given out by director Rajamouli.

However, this had upset Sridevi, who was hurt by such comments coming from the director himself. Later Rajamouli also expressed regret over his statements and mentioned that he should not have discussed such things in a public platform.

Now the director-actress duo appears to have patched up and if reports are to be trusted, Sridevi would be cast in Rajamouli’s next in a pivotal role. There are also talks that this project would be a multilingual featuring the top performers from other film industries. An announcement from the camp of Rajamouli is expected soon.
