Reacting to this incident, singer SP Balasubramaniam, fondly called as SPB, has posted a video message to everyone.

SPB said “I got about 20 calls, asking about the welfare of S Janaki amma. Somebody has posted a message on Social media that she is no more. What nonsense is this? I talked to her and she is very very well.”

“If people love some artist to the core and if there’s any small issue to them, please use social media for positivity. Please don’t use this for adverse things. Please don’t make fun of these things. Why do you do all these things Gentlemen? Can I call you as Gentlemen?”
