On the work front, Thalaivar is currently filming Siva’s Annaatthe, which happens to be his 168th film. Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbu and Meena are a part of the cast. D Imman happens to collaborate with Rajinikanth for the first time in Annaatthe. It is being reported that Nayanthara will be seen as a lawyer for the first time in her career in Annaatthe, which is rumoured to be a rural entertainer. Annaatthe is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. This is the third time Maran throwing his weight behind a Rajinikanth film after Shankar’s Enthiran and Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta.
