OFFICIAL: CLARIFICATION ABOUT SOORARAI POTTRU RELEASE BY SURIYA! - WATCH NEW SNEAK-PEEK VIDEO!

Soorarai Pottru, an upcoming biopic directed by Sudha Kongara will be Suriya's first release this year. He is paired with Aparna Balamurali, a Mollywood actress. Apart from her, the cast ensemble includes Dr. M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat amongst others.

Now Suriya, in a recent tweet, has shared that Soorarai Pottru's release might be pushed a little further, as the movie has a couple of NOC's to get approved. As a treat for his fans, Suriya has also shared a sneak-peek into Maara's world - Aagasam Song promo - Watch it in the video below!

Soorarai Pottru as mentioned earlier is the biopic of Air Deccan Founder Gopinath. Suriya's character is named Nedumaaran in the movie. The struggle Nedumaaran undergoes to finally establish a successful aviation industry is a very small gist of this intense movie.

On the technical front, GV Prakash Kumar has tuned the songs for this movie, Niketh Bommi and Sathish Suriya handle the cinematography and editing departments respectively. The movie's increasing popularity had converted into the movie's Hindi rights being sold already, and the film will be released in Tamil as Soorarai Pottru and Telugu as Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra. Also, the Kerala Theatrical Rights were acquired by Spark Pictures.
