EXCLUSIVE: NALAN KUMARASAMY REVEALS THE GENRE OF HIS NEXT AND SOODHU KAVVUM 2 PLANS!

In 2019, Nalan wrote a segment of the Thiagarajan Kumararaja directed multi-genre film Super Deluxe (2019), which was lauded by critics and audiences for its non-linear treatment. When Behindwoods got in touch with the Nalan, the director said that he has completed two scripts.

Nalan quipped, "Yes. I have finished two scripts, one is a tribute to the action-masala genre films in Tamil cinema, while the other script belongs to the sports-film genre." Nalan also said that both projects will be produced by Studio Green.

Nalan is currently involved in assembling the cast and crew members for his next project. When asked about whether the director is keen on exploring the idea for a possible sequel to Soodhu Kavvum, Nalan replied, "Currently, there are no such plans, but I hope it will happen in the future."
