TAMANNAAH'S HERO IS EXCITED ABOUT THE OSCAR ENTRY

Looks like another Indian star’s film will also be presented to the Oscars. This time, though, the film will be China’s official entry for the Foreign Language Category at the 89th Academy Awards. We are talking about the Sonu Sood starrer Xuanzang.
 

Xuanzang is an epic historical film about the seventeen-year-long journey of a Chinese Buddhist monk, Xuanzang to India. The film also features many Indian stars including Neha Sharma, Mandana Karimi and Ali Fazal. The Devi(L) actor essays the role of emperor Harshavardhana, the last Hindu emperor of united India.
 

It is interesting to note that this is Sood’s debut Chinese film and he is also a part of the Indo-Chinese co-production Kung Fu Yoga which stars Jackie Chan and Anegen fame Amyra Dastur. This project is a part of the three film contract signed and agreed upon between India and China in May 2015.
