Saravanan Surya Mani fondly known as AVM Saravanan is a veteran producer. He is one of the co-owners of the legendary production company, AVM Productions. He has been involved in hits such as Sivaji, Minsara Kanavu and Ayan.
AVM Saravanan has written a book called Naanum Cinemamum. The first copy of the book was released recently by actor Sivakumar and was received by Padmashri Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti. The book launch event was graced by several prominent film personalities.

AVM Productions is a very renowned and prestigious production company in Tamil cinema, who has delivered a numerous number of blockbusters. Now, it has been officially announced that AVM Saravanan's granddaughter and M.S.Guhan's daughter Aparna Guhan will be getting hitched to Maitreya, tomorrow (November 9).
The reception will take place this evening (Nov 8) at AVM Rajeswari Kalyana Mandapam at Mylapore around 6 pm. Maitreya, whose original name is Shyam, is the son of popular film producer and financier Mr.Raghunandan. The name Maitreya was coined by director Mysskin, who has signed the young budding actor as the lead hero for his next film. Apart from Mysskin's movie, Maitreya has also signed two other exciting projects, which are said to be in its post-production stages.
Behindwoods sends its best wishes to the young and vibrant couple on this auspicious occasion.
