Ipix has released the film overseas with Prime Media (USA), York Cinema (Canada), Bolain Cinemas (UK and Europe), United India Exports (Gulf, Singapore and Sri Lanka), MKS Talkies (Australia and New Zealand) and DMO (Malaysia). The film's distribution rights are bagged by Red Giant Movies in Tamil.

Netflix has acquired the OTT broadcasting rights. Sivakarthikeyan plays a college student while SJ Suryah plays a college principal. Don has evolved into a film with an emphasis on comedy and romance. Don is the story of a young man who aspires to become a film director.

Sivakarthikeyan watched the movie Don that was released today (13.05.2022) with the fans at the Rohini Theater in Coimbatore, Chennai. He also videotaped the tumultuous celebration of the fans. The video was released by SK Productions.
