'I APOLOGIZE TO ALL OF THEM...' - SK'S LATEST STATEMENT

Sivakarthikeyan's Seemaraja hit the screens yesterday (September 13) amidst good expectations. The scheduled early morning shows, which were supposed to start at 4.30 AM and 5 AM were unfortunately cancelled due to last minute KDM license issues. The first show started from 7 AM and 8 AM throughout the State.
 

SK and Soori visited a popular theatre in Chennai to know the audience's response in the first show. Post the visit, the duo came out and met the press. SK apologized to the audience on behalf of his whole team for the cancellation of early morning shows.

"I could see a good response from the audience for the comedies. It is definitely a happy feeling for all of us. My heartiest thanks to the audience.

The early morning shows should have actually happened, but due to last minute issues, we couldn't release as planned. It was an unexpected issue and that is why there was a delay in delivering the KDM license. It is a worrying incident. I assure the audience that this mistake will not happen next time for my film.

Lot of people would have come to the theatres early in the morning, sacrificing their sleep. I apologize to all those who came to the theatre and got disappointed. My heartfelt apologies to all of them on behalf of my entire Seemaraja team. The audience can now come and watch the film and have a good laugh.", said Sivakarthikeyan.
