Singer Priyanka is the daughter of singer Kanchana Devi and music composer G.Nallathambi. She has been trained in western classical music and Hindustani classical music right from a young age.

She came more into prominence after participating in the music reality show Super Singer Junior (Season 2) and ended up a semifinalist. She later participated in the Junior Super Stars and emerged as the runner up.

She has sung for Ilaiyaraaja, A.R.Rahman, D. Imman and others and has also worked as a voice-over artist and video jockey too.

She has completed a dentistry course and posted pictures of her in action.
