Talking about why he did not attend the Nadigar Sangam meet in the morning which was also a protest, Simbu said:
“Ever since the demise of our ex-CM Jayalalithaa, there has been numerous problems in our state one after the other. I did not attend the Nadigar Sangam protest because staying silent will not help. I wanted to voice out my opinion and explain possible solutions to attain our due rights! I want everyone to join the struggle and stay united till the country realises our critical situation and offers a solution!”
