RAASALI - SINGLE REVIEW

Post the release of Thalli Pogadhey, expectations have been soaring high for the tracks of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. Living up to the hype, the recently released Raasali also has managed to grab eye balls.

This soothing melody oozes carnatic essence. Mellifluous vocals blend with rhyming lyrics that manage to make this track stand out. It sounds fresh with varied orchestration and instrumentation. Just the thought of Gautham Menon's finely etched visuals makes the song even more colorful to listen to.

It is appreciable that ARRahman is pitching out something that is new in genre for the interludes which travel parallel to each other here. Sathyaprakash's voice is manly and melodious while Shashaa Tirupati is the true Raasali in this track.

In short, we can say that Raasali is a clever composition and that AR Rahman and Gautham Vasudev Menon are on a roll.
