SIMBU TO ACT IN A FILM FOR TAMIL NADU MOVIE MAKERS SANGAM: DEETS

In a statement, Silambarasan, a member of the Tamil Nadu Movie Makers Sangam, said that with the funds available through this film, welfare schemes including medical assistance to the ailing producers, scholarships for heirs, marriage allowance, life insurance and medical insurance will be implemented. The film will be produced for the development of the society and for the benefit of the producers. We are committed to filming for soon and that the film will hit the screens this year.

Simbu was last seen on screens in Suseenthiran’s Eeswaran which stareed Nidhi Agerwal as the leading lady. Thaman had composed music. The film released alongside Vijay’s Master for Pongal.

Subsequently, another film of Simbu’s was also announced – Pathu Thala in which he shares screen space with Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar. He also has Maanadu with Venkat Prabhu.
