DIRECTOR SAID, “YOU ARE MY DAWOOD IBRAHIM!”

Siddhanth Kapoor, sibling of  Shraddha Kapoor, in a recent interview to a Bollywood daily revealed that when Apoorva Lakhia first approached him for Dawood Ibrahim's character in the film 'Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai.', he couldn't believe it because he had never thought he could essay Dawood's character.

Siddhanth later took his photographer friend for a test shoot and showed the stills to Apoorva who was amazed seeing them and told that Siddhanth is his Dawood for the film.

Playing Dawood Ibrahim isn't anything new in B'wood. Rishi Kapoor and Akshay Kapoor had played the role in the past, so Siddhanth constantly had to chase something different for this film which is a story about Dawood's sister, played by Shraddha Kapoor. The film is expected to release by July 2017.
