WILL SICA TAKE PART IN THE STRIKE?

The FEFSI union has announced its strike from tomorrow, the 1st August. Earlier on, Vishal, the President of Producer Council, had through a press note, mentioned that shooting will continue whether there is strike or not.

Reliable sources claim that SICA, the South Indian Cinematographers Association, will not be participating in this strike. A senior cinematographer from the union tells us that since it involves the livelihood of many workers in the film industry, they would not be partaking in the strike. If they are called for shooting, they will oblige, adds a source. Stay tuned and we would keep you updated.
