“YOU HAVE A GOOD SCREEN PRESENCE”, SIMBU

Metro directed by Ananda Krishnan will be hitting the screens tomorrow, the 24th June and we indulged in a small chat with hero Shirish.

“This is my first film. I know Ananda Krishnan from my Loyola College days. One day, he called me for the role in Metro and said that it would be suitable for a debutant. I cleared the audition and went on board. I play a journalist hailing from a middle class background and my character is very attached to his family.

I was nervous in my first shot. But artists who played the role of my parents treated me like their son, which made things easy. Bobby Simhaa also was very friendly which paved way for our combination scenes to come out well. 

There were quite a few celebs that liked our trailer and had encouraged us. Gautham Menon was impressed and expressed his wish to see the FDFS of the film. Simbu said the trailer was amazing and that I have a good screen presence. Murugadoss had tweeted wishes to our team. Karthi had released a song. Sivamani’s wife had sung a song. Press also was much positive in their feedback when we had a preview of the film. .

I have signed a horror subject and the announcement will come in July”.
