Telugu actor, Sharwanand was busy shooting for his upcoming film which is the official Telugu remake of the Tamil hit, 96 that starred Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha in the lead roles. The actor will be seen reprising the role of Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha will be seen essaying the role of Trisha.
Reportedly, while the actor was shooting, he had met with an accident. He was injured fatally after an apparent parachute failed during his fifth skydiving attempt in Thailand. But the shoulder injury apparently required the surgery in Bangkok which went on well today.
The actor will continue to stay in hospital for a couple of days and the doctors have advised him to take two months of complete rest. The actor is expected to join the shoot of 96 Telugu remake in September.
Directed by Premkumar who had directed the Tamil original, the film is produced by Dil Raju. Meanwhile, 96 is also being remade in Kannada as 99 that stars Ganesh and Bhavana in the lead roles.
