Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsIn 1993, two eminent film personalities - ace filmmaker S Shankar and Action King - Arjun Sarja made their debut with their hit film, Gentelman which also featured Madhoo as the female lead. Since then it was no looking back for the director-actor duo as the film went on to become a box office success.
Apart from running for over 175 days at theatres, Gentleman also won four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Right from the film’s plot to its evergreen songs which are still favourites for many, this film had deeply etched into the hearts of millions.
And now, almost after 27 years, the hit-producer KT Kunjumon has announced that under his production, Gentleman Film International, he’d be making a sequel to his much-acclaimed Gentleman which has indeed stirred up our excitement level. He also further stated that the grand film will be made in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.
According to the producer, the film will be shot on a lavish scale, using all the latest technologies in Tamil first probably in January or February next year. Post which, it will be remade in other languages. Other details on the cast and crew members are yet to be announced! Stay tuned!
