Many celebrities have taken to their social media to wish fans for Ramzan. Particularly, actresses have been sharing photos of themselves in traditional Islamic attire.

Shalu Shamu is known to the audiences for having acted in films such as Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Irandam Kuthu. She then and now shares photos of herself on social media.

On the occasion of Ramzan, she has shared photos of herself in a hijab and wished fans. “May This Eid Brings Joy, Peace & a Covid Free World For All. Eid Mubarak To Be Safe & Happy......!!!,” she wrote (sic).

Fans commented saying that Shalu looks good in traditional attire and further asked her to post more photos wearing hijab, half-saree and such. This sure is a nice and welcome departure from tradition, pun intended.
