One of the most iconic TV shows back then during the 90s was Shaktimaan undoubtedly. It was such a great craze amongst the kids that they would badly wait for the serial to be aired on Sundays.

The first ever superhero show was aired on Doordarshan from September 13, 1997 to March 27, 2005. Producer Mukesh Khanna played the role of Shaktimaan and his alter ego "Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri".

And now, here’s the big news - Shaktimaan will be made into a full-length feature film and will be a trilogy as per the recent announcement. Must admit, the show made Mukesh Khanna a household name.

Sony Pictures India has partnered with the show's original producer Mukesh Khanna's Bheeshm International and Brewing Thoughts. A grand teaser was launched yesterday which has left fans in frenzy. Going by the teaser, it is said that one of India’s Superstars would be playing the lead. Watch here -
