Suriya and director Selvaraghavan had teamed up for NGK which had hit the screens on May 31 and has opened well despite the mixed talk. The film featured Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as the female leads. Actors Bala Singh, Uma Padmanabhan, Ilavarasu and Ponvannan play crucial supporting roles.
Yuvan Shankar Raja had composed the music of the film, while Praveen K.L and Sivakumar Vijayan handled the editing and cinematography respectively. Produced by S.R Prabhu and S.R Prakash Babu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, the film opened up to a terrific opening at the box office.
Recently, a popular theatre in Chennai had introduced a feature - a public movie review board, where the audience could write down their take on a piece of paper. And the theatre owners have highlighted a particular excerpt, “@Suriya_offl kum @Rakulpreet um sambavam nadandhudha ilaya?” and have asked the director to clarify it.
Selvaraghavan has taken to his social media and have hinted on it, “Mm. Interesting! Is there "something" between NGK and Vanathi? The answer lies in the scene where NGK meets Vanathi in her hotel room in the second HALF. Keep decoding!” Check out the tweet here -
