SATHYARAJ TO CAMPAIGN FOR DAUGHTER DIVYA IN THE UPCOMING ELECTION?

She had written a letter to the Prime Minister’s Office a few years ago, criticising the NEET exams and the letter had gone viral. Divya has started a people’s movement called “Mahilmadhi Iyakkam” to provide nutritious food, free of cost to people in the lower-income group. She had also requested the Minister of Agriculture to provide direct income support to the small farmers, thus compensating their losses due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Ever since Divya Sathyaraj announced that she is interested in politics and had started field work two years ago, there has been a lot of speculation that her father, a legendary actor in his own right, is all set to campaign for his daughter in the next elections. It is an undeniable fact that Sathyaraj is an extraordinary speaker and several speeches of his have gone viral on social media.
We reached out to Divya to get a clarification. “My dad has been unconditionally supportive of my dreams, he will definitely hold my hand and walk with me in my political journey but I would like to stress on the fact that I am a self-made, independent person and I have never used my dad’s name or fame to excel in my career as a nutritionist,” she told.
Well, this should put a rest to rumours.
