A press meet for Sakka Podu Podu Raja is currently happening at Prasad Labs, Chennai. Speaking at the event, actor Santhanam opened up on clashing with Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran at the box office.
"I am not competing with Sivakarthikeyan. Christmas weekend could easily fit two films, and healthy competition is always welcome."
When asked if he will act as a comedian again, he replied, "I might confuse the audience if I act as a hero in a film and as a comedian in another. So I will not be playing comedian roles anymore."
Apparently, Sakka Podu Podu Raja has got U/A certificate from the censor board and will hit the screens on December 22.

Sivakarthikeyan-Nayanthara starrer Velaikkaran is the latest buzz in K’town. The film, also starring Fahadh Fasil and Prakash Raj, in pivotal roles is directed by Mohan Raja and has been gathering attention from audience everywhere. At the moment, it seems that the team will be releasing a motion poster today, December 5 at 9 PM.
Yesterday, December 4, the movie’s production banner 24AM Studios had posted on their Twitter space: "Our @Siva_Kartikeyan in @jayam_mohanraja’s #VelaikkaranMotionPoster releasing on digital platform tomorrow at 9PM đđđ»"
With all great expectations, the film’s music was released on the 3rd of Dec with so much of grandeur and extravaganza. Will the grandeur reflect in big screens? Let us wait and watch!
