HERE’S THE DRUMROLL ON SANTHANAM’S NEXT AFTER PARIS JAYARAJ

Arivalagan’s Associate Srinivasa Rao is directing the untitled venture, the shooting of which is scheduled to happen in Tiruchy and Kumbakonam.

The film is said to be a family entertainer. “This is a script that suits Santhanam, but at the same time, it has a few elements that will be new for him as an actor. The film will not just be a comedy. There will be some emotional moments which will offer him scope to score as an actor. There will also be humour based on contemporary politics, though the film isn’t a political satire,” the director was quoted as saying by ToI.

“Santhanam’s comedy in the film will be as funny as it was in Boss Engira Baskaran, which is one of his best works till date, and had a huge reach in the B & C centres,” he had further said.

It is being said that a newcomer would be roped in to play Santhanam’s ladylove. Sam CS scores music.

“We are planning this as a big-budget film, and the story is set in Srirangam, Trichy, and Kumbakonam. We are actually shooting in live locations in these places. We are working with a smaller unit than usual. Moreover, we have stocked up on masks and sanitisers for the entire shoot,” the director gave further more details.
